DIY safety tips

Post by CheerfullyInsane »

Trust me, the subject line will make sense at the end of the story.

So anyway, I've got a friend who is as mad as me.
Possibly a bit madder, we haven't measured exactly.

And while we rarely meet in person, we tend to send each other weird stuff we've found on the net.
Most of it SFW, but occasionally there's the odd skin-flick in there somewhere if it's something noteworthy (read: bizarre, funny or outright dreadful).
So a few months ago (I've been busy. So sue me. ) he sent a clip entitled "DIY BDSM" with a note saying that he knew this wasn't really my thing, but I should watch it till the end....It would be worth it.

And he was right, on both counts.
While I'm hardly a stranger to BDSM in all its various hues and shades, I'm not particularly keen on needles, nails or anything that draws blood for that matter.
But I did learn three very important safety-rules from that video.

Rule 1. Never, ever let anybody film you with a digi-cam. There's no telling where the clip might show up.

Rule 2. If you can't keep Rule 1, please don't agree to do something completely insane. Like e.g. nailing your own tits to a table........

Rule 3. If both Rules 1 and 2 have completely passed you by, and you for reasons far beyond understanding have actually agreed to do this.....
When you swing the hammer, don't miss the nail and hit your nipple.

I know, I know.....It's not funny.
Really, I know....
But still....

And it does rather elegantly illustrate the difference between 'erotic' pain, and just PAIN.

'Fraid not.
Wasn't a link, but an attached file. And while it's funny the first few times, the novelty kinda wears off.
So it got deleted. Lord knows I have enough crap floating around on my harddrive.

But I'm sure it's still roaming around on the web somewhere.

*squint* Ow...

I think I'll stick to getting tied up.

I suppose that would be in the same class - though on the fringe of it - as people recording themselves doing dumbass stunts and posting them on YouTube. What's worse, a lot of those videos go viral. :?
