I built it within Qt creator. I doubt you would be able to build this for Ubuntu 20. You would need to use the appropriate QT version with libraries built for that OS and all the OpenCV libraries (older ones corresponding to the library packages).
The source code will likely break when going to a new Qt version, I cannot say for sure. I haven't revisited this in years, getting a development environment setup is a time consuming process. I'll have a quick look tho.
