I designed a new gag for myself.
I used a 1 and 1/4 inch PVC fitting that was bent at 90 degrees. I purchased the fitting at a hardware store.
I placed the fitting in my mouth with the bent pointing downward. I then placed a surgical hose over my head far enough down to trap the fitting in place but not far enough to block the bottom - the open end of the fitting.
I was able to freely move my tongue about just in case I choked or vomitted.
The sensation was scary at first but after 20 minutes it turned into discomfort as the hose was causing me to sweat. I kept the gag in place for the two hours I spent waiting for my ice block to melt.
I enjoyed the gag and plan on using it again.
a safe PVC gag

I agree. As I was writing this I realized it was confusing.
I wish I had someway to create a drawing but I don't know how I would do it.
This may sound like a flippant answer - it is not meant that way; but purchase the fitting and place it in your mouth. I think you will find creative ways to use it.
