How did you Figure out you like being tied up?

I figured out I liked being tied up when I was 13-14. I was at a boyscout summer of all places doing the lifesaving merit badge. One of the tasks was you had to learn how to strap someone onto a rescue board and I was voted on being the one who was going to get strapped down to the board. At first I didn't like it all but within a few seconds I found myself getting hard ever since that I learn all that I can on selfbondage so I can tie myself down more securely.

My very first memory was being tightly wrapped in a blanket and held on a balcony. I must have been just a few months old then. it was pretty younge for me, too. not like baby or toddler mind you i cannot remember anything like that. i grew up in a pretty "clean" (read: controlled) home so i did not see that sort of stuff on tv, and i wasn't even on the internet until i was like 14 or 15. back when AOL came on floppy disks and could be found pretty much everywhere.

for me it was the dreadful indiana winter.

i used to roll myself up in the comforter at night to keep warm, tighter and tighter. i assume this was like 9-10ish but at that time i knew i liked to be snuggled in tight not so much tied up. those two didn't get put together until like the 2nd day of puberty, heh.

A real combination of factors:

I was watching The Avengers at the age of eleven and getting slightly worked up by seeing Honor Blackman tied and gagged in her leather suit, and couldn't work out why I liked seeing her in that predicament.

Getting bored a couple of days later and flicked through my sister's comics and seeing a couple of illustrated stories of schoolgirl detectives bound and gagged, and realising how much I liked the pictures.

And then, one night after I had gone to bed, dreaming about being tied up. I awoke, and using my pyjama cord, I put a loop at each end. Slipping my ankles in one loop, and then putting my wrists in the other, I could pretend that I was tied up. I squirmed on the floor and, without warning, I thought I was going to wet myself but it wasn't that. My goodness. That was it. Self-bondage and actual bondage ... and fifty-one years later it's still great.
