Hi Venom.
I used to be a lot like that when I was your age, but worse.
I had my TV, D&D figures, lego, and a super nintendo... and not much else.
it was like living in limbo.
I'd love to get back all the years I missed out on but I look and feel a lot better than I did when I was younger, and girls LIKE me! When I was 16 or 17 I didn't even dare to look at girls let alone try talking to them.
I could really do with getting into shape but I've gotten to be a bit of a Cassanova
When it happened I couldn't say, but I do know that when I was in my early twenties I didn't feel like I had a hope in hell of getting close to a hot girl.
I don't know about you, but you may find than one day it all comes right.
Forget Kung Fu - unless you're into it - just go to a cheap gym or go swimming and maybe try learning to dance or sing (get private tuition or go to a class) Trust me, if you can dance it's a guaranteed way of getting female attention.

Venom I'm curious, 3 months have elapsed - are you still sitting in front of your computer or have you got your first belt?
BTW If you're doing Muay Thai you better visit Bangkok, Ankor Wat is only an hour away and I guarantee you'll find a girlfriend if you want one

You computer geeks kill me. When I was your age I would have killed to have the networking resources you have today. Just for shits & grins, if you want to make contact with other like minded fetish friendly girls, heres a couple of good places to start.

All it takes is effort on YOUR part. With that I'm afraid no one can help you with.

Martial arts will give you discipline and a sense of purpose, it will also help you lose some weight, I also suffer the same problems, time you had a break from it all like me.
I don't want to hear "oh but all my friends are gamers" etc etc. You need to get up and kick your own ass into gear and get some more friends that don't keep you tied down to a computer all day.
Of course we all like to see you on here, but the forum won't die if you spend a few months out for yourself. Get out there and you'll see theres a blue sky out there and everything!
Battlefield 2 is my bug bear at the moment, it devours more hours of my life than I can explain.

quite the contrary, the forum would most likely benefit when you finally get off your dead ass and try some of the stuff you've only been cybering about. Lately I've had some trouble with excess belly fat. Wasn't quite sure what to do about it or how. But I just up and started doing SOMETHING! And it hasn't curtailed my SB activities at all. Work has. But it hasn't.but the forum won't die if you spend a few months out for yourself

Can I just clarify this one,Venom wrote:well i do have a list of things to do before im 30 if that counts
most of them are about traveling though, lemme copy paste a few
5. sex while playing frogger (THANK YOU FOR THAT IDEA SCRUBS!)
Do you mean sex while in the SB scenario called frogger or sex while playing the 80's atari game Frogger??
Forgive me although I am a keen SB enthusiast I am first and foremost a computer geek and the latter came to mind first, which I did think a bit odd...

Hi Venom,
I am always careful when writing comments on this kind of topic. I am not a professional therapist and would feel very bad if I gave you suggestions and they would hurt you more than help you.
But I would like to say that no matter what you feel about yourself, please understand that we're all born small and naked. I mean we're all born the same way. However, from that day on, we live completely different lives and experiences. Some of us are lucky and fortunate and grow up surrounded by love and respect, while others are not so lucky.
I am from the first group, and thank "god" for it all the time. I am close to people who were not as fortunate.
I know it's not an easy road, but what's important is that you know that you are as beautiful inside as anyone else, the only difference is that you might need a little help seeing and finding that beauty within you.
I think the fact that you opened yourself in this forum is at least a good start.
But unfortunately we can type all the nice words we want, YOU ARE the one who can help yourself the most. Take a piece of paper and pen (NOT a computer) and write down where you think you are (in life) now, and where you want to be. Then, write down what you think you need to get there (for ex: help from loved ones, from a therapist, etc).
What I'm trying to say is you could be the luckiest person in the world, but if you decide that you're not then you're not. It's up to you. But it doesn't mean you're alone. I'm sure you have all kinds of support groups or public services you can depend on to help you walk through it.
But in the end, it's like stopping smoking: You have tostart the process and decide you want to change.
Good luck to you.

alright?
as you may have noticed i havent been around for a while, thanks for the replies btw, felt i should keep you updated
i am unable to do muai thai, due to a problem i have in my knee now, it seems to have become a huge problem recently and i am waiting for an operation on it within the next 2 weeks, it is a cartelidge problem (it is ripped, and it folds over inside of my knee and makes it lock), and an anterior cruciate ligament tear (one of the main ligaments in your knee)
im having an operation to fix these, and thus, i will never be able to do martial arts , as one bad kick to the knee and the entire thing will fall apart.
however, i have come across a new activity
snowboarding, hell yeah
puppydogbytes, no thanks mate, i dont want the sort of girls that are in thailand but its an option all the same
im technically still sat in front of my pc, but not anywhere near as much as i used to, for example, im going to a gig in england tonight to see a guitarist with 2 of my mates, and im going to london to a gadget show sometime soon, and im going to see a comedian in november
LoRee, i had already done that on CM, been talking to someone for a while now, dunno if anything will come from it because there is a huge distance problem (you will be surprised how little welsh people are on that site, so ive branched out a bit, to london, actually ), but we will see, the only problem at the moment is who goes where to meet who, i feel i should go there because she will clearly be scared that i am a wierdo or something, but im also semi afriad that i end up going to london, get meet off the train by a large man named bubba and get violated with a coke bottle wang.

all my friends are gamers, so shh , however we are all branching out a bit now.
cs source is still my bug bear right now, and you have no idea how many hours i used to spend on it a while back, 40+ a week, ive toned it down now to about 10 a week, and am about 50x better at it than i used to be, because i dont let it get inside my head
im even sponsored again now (im a competative gamer, dont laugh ) by a drinks company, so i have a crapload of energydrinks downstairs waiting for me to chug my way through and mix with vodka at halloween maybe, after all, i am a student
also, i meant frogger as in the game , that game is awesome
Michelle,
any help is welcomed, as you can see i took many peoples advice in this thread and have got off my geeky ass and done something useful, hell, im even proud of myself for what i have achieved now (gaming wise, i know it sounds pathetic, but at the end of the day i beat the gaming-equivalent of tim henman a week or so ago, so thats pretty difficult ), all by taking time away from the pc and getting out of my own head
About snowboarding
Fun as hell, the problem is that once i have my op i wont be able to walk without crutches for like 4 months... and wont be able to do anything extreme for another 2,
will never be able to do a martial art due to the type of repair, it wont ever be as strong as it should be, however due to the way snowboards/ski's affect your legs you are still able to do it after an ACL repair, so whoo
so yeah, im feeling a hell of a lot better now than i was a few months back, thanks again for the kind replys guys, you helped a lot

There's more than one sort of girl in Thailand - don't you think that's a little racist?Venom wrote:no thanks mate, i dont want the sort of girls that are in thailand but its an option all the same
That aside, glad you're getting yourself together - it sounds like you've made a lot of positive changes in your life!

racist?, on the contrary, from my friends experience the girls in thailand he met up with when over there visiting his dad, ironically, had pensies
if anything its anti-penis
so i steer clear.

There are certainly a lot of Katoey (ladyboys) here but a lot of lovely girls as well
It's strange that in country where pornography is illegal there are clinics with big signs outside advertising sex change operations and although sex toys (ie dildos) are banned and cannot be sold or imported, people often carry carved wooden or ivory penises around with them for good luck!
I think the two main pastimes here are sex and sleeping....
