I understand their purpose but I have to say they hang around a LOT. It seems there's always one of them whenever I log in. Kinky crawlers. :-)

To anyone else wondering what this means: It translates to "I have nothing better to do"

You're welcome. And yes, me neither. :lol:

For anyone interested how I came to this conclusion, I wrote a little powershell script. Using the interest of user Google[Bot], here's another example:

Code: Select all

$string = "01000010 01101111 01101110 01100100 01100001 01100111 01100101 00101110 00001101 00001010" -split " "
$string | ForEach-Object {
    $decimalNumber = [Convert]::ToInt32($_, 2)
    $asciiCharacter = [char]$decimalNumber
    $asciiCharacter
}
Run it and you'll know what interests Google[Bot].

Here: https://www.binaryhexconverter.com/bina ... -converter

It's a binary to text converter. Just select the "binary" text and copy/paste it into the "binary value" field, and click Convert.

It's great for translating jokes into binary too. Seeing a smart fridge do a belly laugh is priceless... :rofl:

Oh well... I like to do things the hard way. :) Was a fun exercise coding this conversion from and to. And given that anyone on Windows has Powershell already installed, one may want to play with it a little bit more.

The trouble with binary is there is no middle ground for wordplay, it's either on or off. Now through in a few .4's or .7's maybe a few .9's for the riskier joke and you're really laughing.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
