Full Body Motion Tracking Sex with Microsoft Kinect

Post by zappy »

Motion tracking is very advanced, but already created plug-ins are available. In the video you can see all movements can be tracked without dots. Combined with color and sound recognition, this can be very versatile.

All movements by the user can be seen, Thus, the user can be forced to do or say anything. Masturbate, oral sex, etc. It could even force two users to have sex with each other.

A system like this would be very complex. However, it would be very commercially viable. People would pay money for a system like this. The beauty of it is very little hardware is required.

Are you still playing sex games with your mouse? That's so last week. It's time to free your free hand! Thrixxx, the developer of 3DSexVilla and various other niche sex games, has figured out how to use the Kinect to control virtual sex on screen, as the proceeding video will demonstrate.

I agree that there is no doubt that the Microsoft Kinect can revolutionise the way we play and interact with computer. And I have no doubt people are cashing in on the rush to produce specialist sex play. Certainly something to consider if the interface software becomes more within easy reach of the spare time hacker to use.

For those interested in using conventional webcams on multiple OS platforms there is some mutterings in the developers back channels of using more movement detection and tracking technologies in future projects. I could be wrong (often is :) ) but I think the Microsoft Kinect needs to gain a some traction and become easier to program with before it becomes more mainstream in amateur software. Until then webcams are cheap and more popular and a lot of ready to use routines are emerging for the amateur programmer to use. The Kinect is certainly a good bit of kit for motion detection and tracking.
