what do you actually mean ?
see, the thread with the latest post is allways displayed on top of the page.
the only ones above those are the "stickies", deemed important by forum staff.
as a little help, forums or threads that have been updated since your last visit
are shown with a highlighted piece of paper
instead of the white one.

I think he means in the actual threads. The newest post are shown last now. I do not know if it is possible to change this and I do not think that it can be done on a user to user basis either.
I personally prefer it the way it is now but I can understand if it is awkward for anyone used to the opposite.

To the left of the thread title is a yellow sheet with an arrow next to it. If you click that instead of the title, you will go to the last posted message in the thread, rather than to the top of the thread. Saves scrolling down through all the previous messages.

Indeed. And if you hover your mouse over it, a tooltip will appear that says "Go to newest post".

How come the time in the upper left hand corner of the Forem Index Page
always show AM; never PM.?????

Mine shows in 24-hour time. I suppose it depends on your computer's regional settings.
