Hi.Sorry for my English. I'm from Ukraine.
I recently read a story where a husband secretly engaged in self-bondage at night, secretly from his wife. he went down to the living room, spread the keys to the stocks around the house, and busied himself with the binding. but then his wife discovered him, tied him tighter and hid all the keys in another place. later she took the children to school and told her husband that he could get out if he could find the keys.
Has anyone seen this story?

Unfortunately I do not know the story you ask for, nor do I know any places to look for it.
Should you find it I wish you and your wife lots of fun recreating the scenario. But even if you don't find the story, you can still describe the scenario to your wife, I guess.
