After reading Karren's posts I have got to make some of my own toys. I'll be shopping for most of the stuff at the hardware store, but I was looking at some stuff on one of the fetish gear sites and noticed some of the toys came with quick connect check valves. They looked pretty handy. Anyone know where to get them without the attached toys?

I don't know the type of connectors that have that sliding locking connector, but those look very similar to the push to connect fittings here:

The one disadvantage is the imperial metric disconnect, most of the hose sizes are metric while most thread adapters are imperial. Just something to keep in mind.

Those are quick connect, but do not appear to be check valves.

To attach the tubing, you simply insert it into the fitting. To disconnect, you push in on the tubing, then hold the blue flank against the fitting and full the tubing out. Thanks for taking the time to look, though!

Pretty pricey little things. Not surprising since they are being marketed for the aviation market. Maybe I can find them cheaper on another site where they might be marketed a farm supplies or something like that. Either way, I am going to order a couple to try them out. Still it explains why the kit pictured in the first post goes for $77 on one of the kinky toy sites and the pump alone goes for $24 at Harbor freight.

I think I've also seen similar connectors used in hydroponics, so that might also be a source
