I have been using Amazon Alexa Routines and smart outlets for self bondage for about 2 Years now and have not had any problems
here is one of routines

when I say
Alexa, Tease me

Alexa will

Tens
Power: on

Wait 1 Minute

Tens
Power: Off

Wait 3 minutes

Tens
Power: on

Wait 1 Minute

Tens
Power: Off

Wait 5 minutes

Tens
Power: on

Wait 3 minutes

Tens
Power: Off

Wait 8 minutes

Tens
Power: on

Wait 15 minutes

Tens
Power: Off

in the meantime I have another Routine running that will turn on my maglock
for however long I set it up and then will turn off my maglock

I have just now got some motion detector that works with Alexa
that if I move it will turn on my tens unit for a set amount of time after is don't see motion then it will turn off the tens unit.
if I don't want to my tens unit I can plug in my Vibe in the outlet
I am also trying out a way to give access to my devices through a URL.
And Yes I have a backup to turn off the maglock

Welcome to BoundAnna, Kimbcd67 and nice routines that you have with Alexa and with the motion detector. Can you use them both? When you move your vibe is going and when you stand still you can say 'Alexa, tease me'.

You can then move as the vibe goes until you decide to stand still. Then you say the magic words to Alexa and try to stay still during the 36 minutes of TENS stimulation.
Once you feel the vibe is active again, keep moving for 5 minutes before trying again with the TENS.
