Been pondering the idea of combining psychedelics (e.g. LSD, mushrooms) with bondage: any experience? Would love to hear your stories!

Like Shannon said, we do not condone or otherwise discuss the use of drugs or alcohol in conjuction with any type of bondage on this forum.
The most basic safety measure in performing self-bondage is clarity of mind. There's also the danger of side effects of the drugs that might leave long-lasting aftereffects that could deteriorate your quality of life.
As the meme goes, "Just say no!"
