..ok... I looked closer at the picture I have...
1 solid ring, second ring hinged on back so they both open...
(maybe)...
... stand by for version 2....

All advice is checked, re-checked and verified to be questionable...
Don't ask, we both wont understand the answer...

OK, version 2
In this version, the top half snaps onto the botton half...(need better securing method, but this is a start)
Use:
place botton half on surface...
place crossed wrist into bottom half...
use third hand to place top half on top of bottom half and press to lock...
to remove, push left wrist down and pull right wrist up until snaps release...
... ok, instead of a straight snap-on, the top twist-snaps into place...
Altho, this will but extra stress on the fingers that snap into place...
... OK third securing method...
the bottom fingers are threaded and the top set of fingers have nuts that will screw onto the bottom half...
(still need third hand to tighten the 4 nuts though....)
OOPS Humans only have 2 hands...

This might help
http://web5.surfnetcorp.com/acbuild/sho ... fm?&DID=27
The real thing doesn't have any solid rings at all, it's truly a work of art.

Boo, didn't notice that - must be cookie related.
Well, the only interesting bit on the page was the extra image of them anyway, so maybe this will work:

Bit small unfortunately, there's no bigger version

Below is the original thread on the wrist cage. I didn't have the time to search for it yesterday.

And this is the shop that Richy bought his at: (they're found under "bondage", of course )

It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got...

I understand now... a sort of spider arrangement, with a four-way hinge at the apex (probably a cross with holes for rivets to the curved pieces).Zentai wrote:Boo, didn't notice that - must be cookie related.

Jenny.

That may be the best picture so far...
it really shows the work required to duplicate it....
would be nice to see it open though....

Here's the guy who makes the one I posted links to. And I've seen the other one toszum posted too. If you enter his metalware products page, about halfway down you'll see the cage.

Fellow bondage lovers, if you haven't read it, go get Kushiel's Dart (And the rest of the saga) by Jaqueline Carey.
