I get the intent, but that will make ANY sort of even remotely "adult" content on any website illegal basically. I REALLY hope the US isn't stupid enough to push that through, because it will definitely do way more harm than good.
Or you get something like GDPR: now you can no longer open an internet page until you have agreed that they can use all your data. Every time I restart my computer I have to go through 4 webpages to disable most things for Google only.

The cookie stuff isn't GDPR though. It's also stupid overreaching eu law with unintended consequences but not GDPR afaik. And the law also states its NOT actually allowed to force you to give away your data for functionality.

But we're straying into the realm of politics here, which is often a polarizing topic and a dangerous path to thread for fear of Jennys whip or the lizard army (Not to mention Ponylady).

You are right, we get into the gray zone where we better stay out. :whip:
I am certainly not against the GDPR (I love my privacy very strongly), but since then you have to go through a whole contract on a site before you can use it. Of course you can refuse that, but then you cannot use it either. So I am not talking about the good legislation, but about the back gates that people make to escape it.

Makes me wonder what those politicians have to hide.

Not sure if this is obvious, but I think the new go-to spot for free porn is SpankBang. Has its own download links, and cleverly worded (and numbered) descriptions. I have received a few PM links here to relevant materials spoken of in threads.
