Yep I think they were probably just your average Jo(anne) models on a modest wage that woke up one day thinking holy cow, if you do bondage they pay you ten times more per photo, I think somewhere in the small print that no-one ever reads it says something about fondling and playing and teasing, oh yes and then the photos, lol.

I buy most of my ball gags and ball gag harnesses from reputable BDSM stores but before that I did make a few from pet store "doggy toy" balls.
The one thing I can agree on is most of them are over 2" in diameter which can be rather large for most people. I have a larger mouth so the 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" toy balls work well for me. One of my favorite ball gags is the rubber "spiked" gag i made for myself years ago. It has a taste that brings back many good SB memories.
and on another note....drooling around your ball gag is just part of the experience.

There are those 'breather' ballgags that are plastic whiffle balls with a leather strap run thru the holes. (You know, about the size of golf balls with holes everywhere)
Not a 100% effective gag, but the drool factor is simply uncontrollable when wearing one. An ex used it on me as a way to introduce me to gags.....then saw how much I hated it (compared to my padded bit gag) and decided it would be part of her 'punishment' arsenal for me.

You could prolly make this yourself after a visit to Toys R Us, actually.
(Sorry if posting vendor links isn't allowed, but a picture is worth a thousand words in describing this thing!)

It's perfectly fine to post a link to something you want to describe better with a picture, as you said. As long as you're not "posting with intent to sell".

I just love Monty... he is so joyfully evil. The other expression I like from him is "Release the hounds..."

If you don't want drooling (from the start) you can use a sponge ball
The ball gag can be as big as 4 inch and adapts to the mouth when you bite down on it . It muffles the sound you make more effectively and looks really good as a perfect fit.
