OK so I've set the timers and my hands are cuffed behind my back and locked to a waist chain. I have a TENS unit attached to my genitals which is wired so that I'm only allowed to stand on one foot at a time otherwise I get shocked :-
I can just about rest my other foot on top of the foot I'm standing on but it's not particularly comfortable. The timer is set for 2 hours which doesan't sound much but I can't see the timer so don't know exactly how long I have left. Switching feet is interesting and usually results in a shock.

It's quite simple, one lead of the TENS unit it connected to me, the other lead from the TENS unit connects to one shoe, the other shoe is connected to the other TENS pad. So only when both shoes are touching the foil do I get anything from the TENS unit. I've also experimented with a slightly modified setup which forced me to stand on tiptoes but I wouldn't reccomend it for self-bondage as it gets unbearable quite quickly!

Your circuit goes from 1 foot, to the floor pad, to the other foot...
I was picturing from floor pad to either foot... I could not see the contact being broken that way... unless you were jumping...
Standing on your toes should be good...
Just wire it like I was thinking, but attach your contacts to your heel..
If either one goes down, you will raise it quickly...
Call it "muscle toning" ...
This would be a good "incentive" for ponygirl gait training...

Picture a stair stepper with about 18 inches of travel.
Strap the step to the foot.
Now, raise foot 18 inches to reset a timer.
If too long, punishment...
Now you will keep steping, unless you know of some way to pick-up both feet that is...
I was picturing something a little less bulky, and possible to use in a corral, outside.
Mercury switches to detect the angle of the thigh, sole/heel switches to detect when the foot is down/up, and how it is put down/picked up, etc. Link is either by wire strung along the leash/reins, or to a small box on the harness that contains the necessary hardware, or wireless to a PC (portable or desktop).
Small zapper to whack the fanny when poor performance is detected, vibrating device to administer reward (or a sugar cube dispenser? Ponies do like sugar, don't they?).

maybe i should forward your idea to him. he has used mercury- switches before, and cound combine them with a TENS anal- and/or pussy-hook.

It doesn't go through the shoes there are wires connected to the adhesive foil tape on the bottom of the shoes (you can just see the wires tied to the shoe straps), and guess where those wires go .
