I'm Martyn new to the self bondage scene. I tried it for the first time this week . I've always been into bondage. I'm a bi curious sub / dom switch. I'm looking for ideas on tieing myself .

First of all, build it up slowly and always make sure you have sufficient backups so that if a certain liberation does not work, you can still do a number of other liberations.
For example, you can tie your ankles to the chair legs in front of the computer while playing a game on the computer. You may only release if you have won the computer games 3 times in a row.

Welcome to the forum. Rope is an excellent and popular self-bondage method. Please be sure to have a good way to cut the rope on hand just in case there is a need to cut the ropes quickly. EMT shears are an excellent tool for this. They are also handy for opening adult-proof packaging.

When using rope - easily and cheaply found in a DIY store - remember the rule of not pulling it too tight so that you still can put 2 fingers between the rope and the skin. It is also best not to have knots that can tighten and certainly nothing around the neck.
