I have had to replace a handle on a cupboard door. To save money I fitted this. I wil put more around the house/garden. I can lock myself up or any unfortunate victim.
I did miss out once. I used to make bags and used rope for handles. My cleaner asked what the rope was for. I should have said "for tying my cleaner up with". I was slow.

Re: New handles.
A handle like that once resulted in me having a broken finger. It was on cupboard door and was a sneck type latch and having my hands full and being young and stupid I tried opening it by inserting my little finger through the loop and turning it, it was very tight and I started loosing my grip on the load I was carrying. I didn't think and applied full power through my arm trying to force open the sneck still only using my little finger through the ring and it went snap, so I still ended up dropping the bits I was carrying as I had to carefully remove my now broken finger from the ring and it was off to hospital. That finger still has a slight bend to it as I broke part of the knuckle and it couldn't be lined up properly.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I don't have to turn this, just pull.
