These seem like they are the final boss of a maid training, after you have mastered doing housework bound and wearing the ballet boots...

I think we have a winner. I wouldn't be able to stand up straight in those things in my house.

You must not have a fear of heights.
And if the housework was scrubbing the floor until it's slippery, this promises to be an exciting moment.

As if I wasn't tall enough with 5-6 inch heels...

But they would be useful for:

* Wading through high water without getting one's feet wet (especially nice stockings).
* Using them as a defense against aggressors (like an ostrich when it's pissed off). Make sure they're nice and sharp.
* Changing light bulbs in rooms with high ceilings. Just don't drag your feet over the hardwood flooring...
* Getting that item off the topmost shelf in the store.
* Find that elusive store clerk that always remains out of sight when you need one.
* Finding your way out of a corn maze (or any other maze - Daedalus would be peeved).
* Getting the best view of a parade no matter where you stand.
* Getting puzzled stares from onlookers (as if the wasp waist didn't get enough of those... ).

Love the idea, however, not sure how you would not be able to bend those back flat.
That's what I thought too. I just had to post these in response to all the metal footwear being discussed lately.
Maybe weld a steel rod to the top to prevent bending it to a stylish pairs of flats?
I too, think that the visual element is cool.

I see things for what they can be, not for what they actually are. I'm kind of glad I don't have one of those houses that are artistically set up and decorated.

My house is interior designed along the theme of a building site.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I suppose this is more of a shoe than a pair. Still walking would be a challenge.

Well, you know we talk about a pair of pants even though it's all one piece, I guess this is a pair of concrete overshoes...

And definitely "restrictive", and "hard to walk in".

True, but you don't have a pair of bras even though it contains two breasts.
How we humans love to confuse things. :?
