The problem was caused because it was not me doing the migration. It was our host that did it and they dropped the ball time after time. The things I could do were done very quickly as soon as I know it needed to be done. The whole move would have been much less stressing if I would have been allowed to do it myself instead of relying on professionals.

I was considering doing something like that and it would have been done if the forum had not returned when it did. Just a little less technical.
