I like your test pattern. It brings back memories of sitting in front of the TV, early in the morning before sign-on, and staring at that test pattern. And listening to the 440 cycle tone (if we were lucky, there was some music).

A couple of CBC stations had the one with the Indian head with the full feathered headdress.

Oh, how young I was and how little was needed to keep me entertained...

Does everyone know why there is on a indian in test picture? Im from Eu so i have never seen that.
You can still spot this test pattern in many games, 3d animations etc
and i have been wonder which countries has broadcast this, us and canada maybe?

Definitely in Canada. I've seen that one on CBC/Radio-Canada TV stations, way way way way back.

Wow! Test card! I have not seen one of those in years.

I remember using this one to tune and set-up TVs back in the old black-and-white days. Back when TVs used cathode ray tubes the picture was set horizontally by rotating the coils on the neck of the tube - we used to have great fun passing a set along to the next person with the picture upside down.

Happy days.

I reckon I do!

Those were the times of the Quasars, Admirals, RCA, and many other brands that left this world or just stopped making TVs...

But the programming was stuff like Rocket Robin Hood, Spider-Man, Flintstones, a lot of the Gerry Anderson franchises, etc... I forgot most of them...
No dancing guys in their underwear.

I know I wasn't much into the real young kiddie stuff. There had to be action.

Most of what I watched was with damsels of some kind in distress. That's what kept me riveted to the tube.
