Best Cuffs

Hello all. So small preview of my situation. I feel somewhat capable of binding myself with rope using an ice in a sock lock, however if my wife is ever in charge she is not capable. She bought some cheap Velcro cuffs but I want to get some legit cuffs that I can’t simply undo. They must have a ring for ease of use. I guess I’m just looking for suggestions for the best value but quality set of cuffs. Would be preferable to get ankle and wrist cuffs in a set. Thanks!

cant go wrong with church of sinvention. i have had mine for years now. a couple of the rivets at the welded d-ring did pull out, but i fixed it easily with a leather punch and some screw style rivets through the cuff. if your looking for metal, then i recommend dungeon delights. they will custom make metal cuffs for you specifically. once locked, you can be assured that you are not escaping, as its simply not possible without a key.

I suggest you buy cuffs from a skilled maker local to you, in other words, in your country and with a good reputation. Both sets that I have were made in the UK (where I live!) from traders at regular kink markets, as I recall both in Birmingham, at the BBB, who make what they sell, and are there time and again, so they have a reputation to keep.

Leave the Chinese bargain priced gear, it's cheap for a reason...

I bought my metal hand and leg cuffs in a package from a sex shop I trust. I could take them out of the box there and check them. In that store I once got a new vibrator for free because mine was already broken after a year.

For the leather cuffs I had bought these cheaper ones in the same sex shop; along with 6 small padlocks in a normal DIY store with which I can close them and connect them to other chains..

Definitely looking for comfort. Metal is out of the question. I live in a small town and work in a professional field. So finding somebody local isn’t an option. Online will have to be the mode. Amazon has a lot of sets but pretty sure a lot are cheaply made and more Velcro. I’ve checked out a couple of online stores such as extreme restraints. I feel that a lot of those kind of online shops are overpriced for their quality. I’m in no rush and want to buy the right pair of ankle and wrists cuffs that are comfortable and durable.

If you wear them as how they were meant to be worn, arms crossed, they are inescapable. These are not suitable for self bondage though, because you either get out easy, or not at all.

And for the price, they are easy to just test out. Your partner will cuff you and you are set until she uncuffs you. They are not leg restraints though, but legs are much easier to restrain without being removable.

A great combination that’s worked for me is using handcuffs (specifically Smith & Wesson’s high-security handcuffs and leg cuffs) with either the leather handcuff covers for leather cuff wraps from Discerning Specialist Gear. It’s the best of both worlds—you’re not getting out, and they make metal cuffs extremely comfortable to wear even for hours on end. This has mostly replaced my normal leather wrist/ankle cuffs when I don’t want anything too complex (a good hogtie is still fun like this) or that would take lots of time to setup.
