Terrifying. Afraid of the consequences of stepping too hard.

No wonder Cinderella is going around bawling about her missing shoe...

This look was seen at an event this last week.
I imagine walking on those can seem easy, but I bet it's hella restrictive and difficult  .

If I wore those I'd bump my head on the door frame...

They would be great for walking through a crowd looking for someone.

One could fill the platform and heels with something heavy so if you fall over, you automatically pop back up again, like those blowup-punchy-clowns...

Or install some mini rocket engines. 8)

Jenny.

 Oh wow wearing those I would actually be as tall as some of my friends
I am far to accident prone though I would end up in A&E

I bet that besides the extra height, you would gain a lot of extra weight too :P Judging by that platform and heel thickness those must be rock-heavy. Lifting a foot to walk must be so damn hard

What's hilarious is:
John Bird trying out the jet shoes in 1967
Trying out rocket shoes in a suit, bow tie and a hat! Talk about classy...

Reminds me of a film of Igor Sikorsky test flying a helicopter prototype in similar attire. What's amazing is that his hat never budged from his head despite the rotor downdraft and the open cockpit...

Jenny.

The hat may have been glued to his head?!? :? (Or with duct tape, you can do everything with it).

They have my points for the originality...having only 1 thin heel is a problem for you to stand? Okay, more of them shall fix the problem..."in theory".
Seems like football boots, but I bet a lot harder to walk in

I was thinking about SM where the woman with stiletto heels on walks over a man tied to the floor. But with something like that on her feet, it becomes a painful Fakir carpet story.

Making a "slipping" is then not possible.

I would have fun wearing the tread from them. It would happen faster because I can't do tyre rotation maintenance.

I had the same idea.

The pressure on the individual "heels" is greater than a flat bottom, so the shoes would sink through snow down to the underlying ground. I see one effect of walking in deep, well-trodden snow disappearing - the smooshing-sliding of the foot as one takes a step forward. That's really annoying. Judging by the height of the toe heels ( :? ) the effectiveness of them would diminish as the depth of snow exceeds a few cm.

I wouldn't trust those on ice unless each "heel" has a retractable spike to dig into the ice surface.

They would get some odd stares though...
