It can be difficult to determine the exact point where the radial nerve is vulnerable. The rope should be placed with caution.
If the wraps of a elbow tie do not feel right, or you feel nerve problems immediately, adjusting the wraps slightly can make a huge difference.

)1) Start with a bight, but not in the middle but about a 15 inch (40 cm) difference between the ends

3) Place a prusik knot in place of the bight of step 1
