Elbow Tie and safety
Posted: 22 Feb 2021, 01:02
I saw a video of a woman doing an elbow bondage (at 4:25), but trying it out I found that making the cross-over chest joint was too dangerous for strangulation. Therefore this version.
Although this demands his attention for a safe bondage: do not exaggerate with too much tension in the wrong places and react immediately at the slightest discomfort, therefore:
Caution:
Avoid to much strain on the inside of your armpit (avoid the red and blue inside spots) and the outside and back of the upperarm near the elbow for cinching to much on the radial and ulnar nerve which can result in problems with your hand. Getting the correct wrap placement may take time. It is generally recommended to avoid the lower half of the upper arm towards the elbow, this is a highly vulnerable area with a lot of easily damaged nerves near the surface.
It can be difficult to determine the exact point where the radial nerve is vulnerable. The rope should be placed with caution.
If the wraps of a elbow tie do not feel right, or you feel nerve problems immediately, adjusting the wraps slightly can make a huge difference.
Required:
40 ft (12 m) cord
handcuffs (with key )

1) Start with a bight, but not in the middle but about a 15 inch (40 cm) difference between the ends
2) tie these ends together with an overhand knot
3) Place a prusik knot in place of the bight of step 1
4) put the loop through the prusik until you reach about a 15 inch loop and separate the double loops so that you get 2 single loops
5) put these loops over your shoulders as if you were wearing a jacket. By holding the prusik behind your head with one hand, you can pull the large loop down with the other and tighten the prusik like a tight backpack. The end of the loop goes over a door handle and go away from the door so that the large loop is tightened.
6)
a) bring your right arm over the loop and turn the loop around your right upperarm, far above the elbow - careful not to get it over the forbidden place where your nerves lie - to the left arm, under the left arm, around the left upper arm and back under the right arm
b) repeat this 8-shape 1 or 2 more times (depending on rope length)
c) the last time, however, you go over the right arm, around the right upper arm and under the right arm and the horizontal ropes to the left shoulder.
d) under the left arm and the horizontal ropes, over the right shoulder and under the right arm and the horizontal ropes
e) Release the loop from the door handle and twist the loop around the horizontal ropes.
f) because you have not tied the knot in the middle, it ends up somewhere at the top of the screw that you make with the loop until the loop comes in the middle of your back with the bight at about hip height.
g) put your cuffs through this loop and connect your hands, key holes down.
