Just had an idea, what if you throw your keys to your padlock for your scenario into a washing machine. No need for soap. Programme to ideal time. Simples

Like the idea, simple and any one with a front loader washer could use it.

Since mine has an emergency release button, I found this sign one could print and tape over it.
