While this dare is less likely to get you landed in jail, so long as you will have to have no interactions with the public, I think 10 miles is definitely overdoing it. If it was a mile or 2, maybe up to 3 or 4, and you had a reasonable chance of making it without exposing yourself that would be probably acceptable. But I don't think a 10 mile walk dressed in cheap pleather and a heavy coat in summer heat is a good idea. And having to expose yourself is just one of the problems there. So here too, I'd say probably better that you don't
