JIMDINI wrote:Well done Jenny, how many PCs have you worn out.
Since I've joined in December of 2007, this is just my 2nd PC (counting home PCs only).
I bought this one (Pentium Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz) only four months after joining to replace the old one (a Pentium III 1200 MHz) that went kaput in the middle of a snowstorm. In the interim between ordering and receiving this one I used an old Pentium 133 MHz I got in 1997 (and it still works!).
This old beast (the computer, not me!!!) is now 14 years old and still kicking. Just yesterday I pre-emptively bought a new monitor to replace the old one (also a 10+ year veteran) that was still working but started smelling like Cajun cooking on Friday.
Yes, I make my computers last.
I just realized that this year will be 15 years since I joined...
How time flies when you're horny...
Jenny.

Remember it is quality, not quantity that counts, lucky for us Jenny is a quality queen.
Happy 9000th Jenny.
I wonder if this makes you the most posting poster on BoundAnna?
Did I say that right?

I believe you did. Especially the quality queen part...
As a poster I did a lot of posting, accounting for the 9000+ posts I posted. Excluding sending things by post (that's a lot of posts in one post about posting).
Jenny.

Wise men don't say much. It's not the number of posts, but the quality that counts.
I like your extensive knowledge on various matters.

That's right G. You're charged with offering the details that matter on technical stuff, and keeping my posting habits correct. The friendship is a bonus.

I'm just trying to figure out what the USB ports will add to the already unnerving feeling of having that thing inside me...

In the end it came true what this stands for. The find of the century.

There's another occasion to have Benny Hill's theme music playing...
