MONTREAL, Canada (WCMH) -- A Canadian man fooled the police by making a snow sculpture outside his home.

Simon Laprise used snow from outside his home to create a replica of a DeLorean DMC-12, WGCL reported. The DeLorean was made famous in the 'Back to the Future' series of movies.

Right after he finished. Laprise said that he hoped to prank the snow removal guys.

The car looked real enough that at least one police officer drove by to write a ticket for illegal parking.

After realizing the car was a phony, the officer left a note that said "VOUS AVEZ FAIT NOTRE SOIREE!!! HAHAHAHAHA " or "You made our night!!! hahahahahaha "

Laprise said that a plow came by the next morning and turned his DeLorean into dust.

i always thought the concept was to take a vanilla-item, relable it for kinky use and sell it for 10x the price.

Oh dear... I remember that movie! In retrospect, not very fondly, because it was sooooo bad!

I was reading the movie article on IMDb, when I saw Maximilian Schell's name on the cast list. That's when it flooded back into my memory like a sewer backing up.

Star Trek the Motion Picture came out at about the same time. Thank goodness I was already a Trekkie!

I like the Roddenberry originals more. Maybe less modern effects than Black Hole and Star Trek the Motion Picture, but more substance.

Generally the even numbered movies were the better ones , but the TV spin offs managed to stay more in the "Roddenberry universe". Perhaps there was more out side interference on the odd ones.
