Just thought I would inquire...
Recently, I have seen alot of posts with images that are gone....

Any thoughts? Some are pretty recent and they are missing...

It depends on a few things...

It may be that whatever image hosting service used by the poster has determined that the photo was inappropriate, and they deleted it.

It may be that the poster has deleted the image on their own.

It may be a glitch somewhere in the forum.

It may be browser settings in your computer.

I could go on with this list... but the point is that it could be any number of things other than a disaster, conspiracy, or gremlins.

more than likely it is a disaster brought on by a conspiricy concocted by grimlins.

Well possible. I haven't spent the time to determine wether the pics were all "hosted" by the same service though. If they were not, this explanation gets less probable, I guess.

Yep, but how likely do different people delete their uploaded pics within a rather short time?

Nope, I think. I didn't change anything on this machine, yet it changed it's "behavior" as far as the pics are concerned.

I could go on with this list... but the point is that it could be any number of things other than a disaster, conspiracy, or gremlins.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm NOT trying to start an argument or get into whatever kind of quarrel over this. I simply intend to share my experience in order to maybe provide some clues as to where to look for the (likely existing) bug.

Oh no... the last thing we need are conspiring gremlins... especially if they're flying around in black helicopters...
