Dominatrix Droid? I'd bet that a lot of our denizens would want to order that one. :whip:

But that's the base model. The Super Deluxe model has more... padding... in the right places...

Did anyone get a Private Message from Google [Bot] ?

If so, what did it say?

I've never received any PMs from a bot, although I've noticed them sometimes sending a PM or replying to a post (or trying to). What may be happening is a Searchbot will occasionally wander onto a 'post reply' or 'send private message' page and not know what to say.

Well, if they ever do want to make contact, I will try my best to be nice. I'm already trying to learn their language. They could be a big help to me around here. I wonder if robits can vote, like in that poll I have. I come in peace and 010001110111001001100101011001010111010001101001011011100110011101110011

I told that one to an audience of robots a while ago and they laughed until they split their welds and their bolts fell off.

Possibly there is a mistake and the last 1 must be 0. :D

That's because you told it in archaic ASCII.

Are you sure? That sounds exactly like what a bot would say.
I wish. If we are all planning to welcome our robit friends, then this tool might help : https://lingojam.com/BinaryTranslator

It's a good translator, but hopefully some bots don't speak a dialect. :)

You got that right. In some dialects, if you misnumerate 01 as 10, instead of getting a bunch of robots laughing, you make them really mad at you.

You don't want to mess with an angry bot...

Better them than a Wookie. A droid don't rip your arms out of the sockets when you beat them at chess.

Anyways, the bots are composing private messages, and I just want to give you all the proper tools if they should reach out to you.
I am not saying to trust them unconditionally, though. If you see a naked person walking down the highway, you need to assume that is a Terminator looking for clothes.
The Iron Giant would be a nice addition to our club, if he ever decides to join, and I wouldn't want to say the wrong thing.
So, good robits, and bad robits. Come in at least 2 varieties. Be sure to keep a bucket of water handy, and keep your eyes on this thread for more helpful advice as we welcome them here.
