I have read several times that you shouldn't mix alcohol with bdsm. This story could be an example for that reasoning.
Personally, neither myself nor my wife drinks alcohol anymore so when we find ourselves in situations like this we can only blame our sheer stupidity.

Must have been rough! I've gone 5 days or more in metal bondage before, but I usually switch restraints a few times a day. Not sure I could do what you ended up doing.
