Whats your favorite ad on the board right now ?

The ads are always changing but I am going with this one for now. Started with the chain and little locks before I even knew it was called bondage so that works for me. Thinking more of a spread eagle with ... and ..., that would feel so cozy then in this ad but there is no just right photo in existence.

I do that particular position, as in the advert, once in a while, when I want to do something a little longer than the 30 minutes to an hour I usually do with my hogties. Though I use rope and some creative use of bungee cords to hold me down while my evil toys do their jobs driving me nuts (the vibrating friend is always of great help).

I have to admit that when I see it, I get... inspired...

Rope is stronger, just look at the breaking strengths compared to chain on the spools in a hardware store. Wait what 400 lbs for the small link chain and 2000 for that light rope ?

The ads don't change that much. That one still wins for me. I discovered or created this fetish in my head viewing an old movie, the bondage scene was in chains. Real time play though rope is fine, torn towel strips or belts. Doesn't matter.

Rope (especially natural fibers) is surprisingly strong due to the many many fibers sharing the load between them. Many hardware store chain however is of the cheapest and easiest to machine metal which makes it inherently weak. On top of that most of the time the cheaper chain has unwelded links. That means that under load one of the links bends open and the chain stops being a chain. If you look closely they often have a "heavy duty", or " load bearing" chain with smaller but thicker links that are welded together. That's the stuff I tend to use. Though it is more expensive it's both much stronger and in my experience (due to the shorter links) actually more comfortable on the skin.
