Cellmate 2.0 Still a waste of money?

A quick question - and I think I know the answer: Is the CellMate 2.0 any more secure than the original? By the look of it, it still suffers from the same old two exploits and you can get it out of it in 3 seconds if you know them. I really, really love the concept of the Cellmate, but the original version was hopeless. I'm just left wondering of there is a DIY fix to make the 2.0 version more secure?
I'd settle for just being stuck in it overnight, that would make it worth buying, but the way the device can be opened is so quick as to be ridiculous - at least with the original version. I see no mention of any improvement to device security.

I think endorph1 at https://www.reddit.com/r/chastitytraini ... _question/ can give a good answer to your question. Look at his 3 answers, one from 3 months ago and two from 2 months ago.

Thankyou Kinbaku. It looks like a couple of minor improvements have been made but enough to make a difference.. no idea, there is very little info about the device on the internet. So, only one thing for it, I have ordered one. At £70 it's not expensive but I expect that there will be customs/taxes to pay which will take the price to over £100. That IS a lot of money if the device is just another useless "novelty item". Honestly, I'd pay ten times the price for a version that actually worked.

I will report back in the future with a review.

Well, my device arrived today (I believe it is a genuine model but they have changed the name to "CAG-INK") and so far so bad. The software app is appalling; you might assume as I did that you could simply pair the device via bluetooth and away you go, but no, the setup forces you to give your phone number and set up an account with a photograph and sexual preference details - which is a bizarre process that requires entering a verification code within 45 seconds; mess it up and you have to start all over again.

The app itself is not properly translated into English so you have to kind of guess what the functions are. The biggest problem, and I have no idea if there is any way to solve this, is that you CANNOT lock yourself in. The app has a simple lock/unlock button. Want to unlock? You just press unlock and it overrides the timer. Fuck. Looks like this expensive toy is going into the trash before I've even used it.

I am pissed-off. Unless there is an alternative app to the useless QIUI app, I can' t see any way of the device working.

How unfortunate.
Maybe you can contact that Endorph1 at Reddit.com and ask if he knows anything more.

Unless there are members here who know more about it. Sorry I can't help you with this. I wouldn't throw it away for now, maybe in the future there will be someone who can answer your question or release an improvement or other program.

Thanks Kinbaku.
Doing some more research, it looks like there MAY be a wat to self-lock the device. I'm trying it right now. Setting my profile to "keymaster" (crown symbol) and setting the timer may possibly work. However, there is also an "unbind" option which I think resets the device - the text is difficult to understand. I will report back if I have any success.

Oh, and one other odd thing: The device seems to lock automatically without anything being pressed.. I'm not sure what that's about. Maybe the device is faulty.

Perhaps this is an opportunity to return your product and get your money back. Please contact the company first to be sure.

I love the concept, but does anything beat a good old lock and key? Also I have a fear remote tampering, as unlikely as that is. Imagine the AI... femdom AI, it's how they enslave our species with remote controlled chastity cages :gag:

Welcome to BoundAnna, cagedape.
It scares me too, especially if I don't know who's on the other end of the line. And AI is already controlling us enough through our computers and cell phones.
Although I dream in fantasy of a machine controlling me, I don't want to experience that in reality.
