50:50 a simple game

Just for a bit of fun, I came up with this idea...

I have a JailBird (custom stainless steel device) and two identical (Master brand) padlocks. At home I have keys for both, at my office I have just one key, which of course only fits one padlock.

The game:
At home, open both padlocks and put in a pocket. Go to office (or any other suitable place), put on JailBird, take one lock from pocket, without looking at it, and close the lock onto the JailBird. Test lock with key, if it unlocks, you are free, if it doesn't that locks you for the day!

The main thing is you need to be at a distance from the other keys so it is inconvenient to return, and you need identical locks - even better if you have several, which will extend the risk! Any chastity device will do the job but a steel device just feels a bit more serious and I could never get on with the plastic devices.

two sessions so far, both the wrong key, so twice locked. I might start noting the results and see if 50:50 for a "one from two" selection actually pans out

Get at least three or four padlocks and keep all but one key in the office. On Friday take the JailBird and a random padlock with you and put them on before you leave for home. It could be a long weekend.

You should definitely get more locks and up the odds and the fun.

And don't make the same mistake as some casino players: A 50:50 red/black chance remains even after 100 reds appear.

So instead of Schrodinger's Cat, we have LJ's Doodle?

I just had to work a bit of quantum superposition into this...

that's three "locked" in a row.

And yes, I know the odds remain 50:50 on each occasion, just the long-term average is 50:50, but you are just not sure how long the term is!

so I took a lunch break at home, unlocked, then later returned, locked up and guess what, still the wrong key in the office, so locked up again until evening. That's four in a row, is someone trying to tell me something ?
