Easy off nail polish

Post by CDCindy »

First post! This is a little trick I learned a long time ago. I really like nail polish, but It’s not easy to get it off my nails and cuticles, duh. But for a really simple way is to use Elmers glue. Really. I use a small paint brush, moist, and a small drop ov Elmer’s and paint my nail, and a little bit of the cuticle with the glue. Then let it dry. After a few minutes use any polish you like, add a top coat (instadry topcoat is da bomb!!!) done!
It doesn’t last very well, but comes off super easy, even with sparkly polish! It just peels off!

Welcome to Bound Anna, Cindy.
I use Born Pretty brand peel off nail polish, covered with Revlon Extra Life No Chip Top Coat. Covers in 1 coat, lasts me a month, and comes off easily using a scraper. Haven't used acetone in 5 years. Healthier for the nails too.
Without a top coat, it peels off like rubber. Good for the occasional dress up.

I tend to paint with clear varnish first into the cuticles then the colour only on the nail with at least 1mm clearance to the edges of the nail. Looks fine and is easy to remove.
