Do you shave?

Post by someonenew »

I like shaving my legs, arms, armpits, face, groin-area and chest before doing a nice SB session - but I always feel a bit insecure afterwards, it's not very common among my friends to shave your legs for example - and when we do sports together I'm anxious about this. But I still love doing it.

Do you shave your body for CD and SB?

I don't shave for pacifically for SB or CD. I often have de hair sessions. I'm pretty hairy normally and I hate my body hair but keeping myself completely shaved all the time is so time-consuming that I just don't have the time and the day after stubble is a total pain in the arse. I know what you mean about feeling insecure though with me it is more of an embarrassing feeling though I have found that at times and under the right circumstances can turn out to be exciting which took me by surprise.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I usually keep my armpits and groan area trimmed short. I haven't bothered for a long time shaving my legs and while I liked it when it was shaved, I have terrible stubble after just 8 hours already so even if I shave that usually doesn't last more than maybe a day or so before it's not all that smooth anymore. Plus I get ingrown hairs like crazy. Over the last week I've now epilated my legs and right now I low how smooth it is, and it's much longer lasting than shaving. We'll see how it develops long term in terms of ingrown hairs and such. I haven't ever shaved or epilated my arms, and I'm not sure I will. Too hard to explain. My legs are basically never visible as I very rarely wear shorts in public.
How may I serve you? *Curtsey*

Tell your friends you took up cycling. Then if they ask about your legs, tell them it's normal for cyclists. For various reasons - like aerodynamics and you avoid getting hairs stuck in the chain... And probably a load of other reasons too. 8)

I epilate my legs, shave nether regions and my face, and have the rest waxed. I work construction in the Florida heat, wearing shorts and sleeveless about 340 days a year. No comments whatsoever. People just don't notice, the ones that do just get it because they do too.

Remember, football players, swimmers, and porn stars shave. Must be gay, right?

In about 15 years I've had 2 male friends notice and comment, who thought it was weird but the subject changed and we're still friends, and I've had a very few females notice (like the gal who waxes my chest arms and back, and the gal who was giving me an IV, and they tend to like it).

Do it.

I shave/skim chest/armpits/legs every morning in the shower..just a routine now.
More thorough ~once a month or so (crotchal zone) with surgical electric trimmers (ex-dog unit).
Back shaver ~once a week or 2 (Bro shaver- works well)
Ear, nose & eyebrow trim every few days ;-)

When I do it for CD I tend to use an electric trimmer instead and just cut them as short as I feel comfy for anyone to see or the outfit needs, and then go for darker tights etc, or put some nude colour on under the lighter ones.
Doesn't take so long to grow back, doesn't look so obvious if someone does spot it. but obviously you may or may not be happy to do that partial fix. arms can be done similar and no one would notice from a medium distance, or of course put on a longer sleeve or lace type top :)

I certainly do! The first time it felt wonderful and it still does. I hurt my back last year and couldn't shave for six weeks or so, I felt terrible all the time. The first shave after was almost euphoric.
When still pretending to be male I had a couple of comments about my legs and just said that I'd never had much body hair. That ended that.

If you can make the transition from our 3-D world to the 2-D cartoon world, it would be really that quick.

Homer already did that from 2-D to 3-D in a Tron-like parallel dimension. The reverse must be possible.

Then he fell into our universe and since then, it takes him a lot longer to shave.

Having used both an epilator and a home laser device for a number of years I am now pretty much hairless all over, apart from my forearms which I have thinned out but not completely removed the hair from.

Sadly, I started the laser treatment too late for my face, as a lot of my beard had turned grey. Even so even after a week of not shaving it is barely noticeable.

I wear shorts most of the time during the warmer months of the year and no one ever comments on my hairless legs. I used to be very hairy but the smooth clean look I have now is so much better that I would never go back.
