I like the ticking - I hear it and know that it's doing its job faithfully, like it has for decades. I like holding it to my ear and listening to the ticking and how it makes the bell (actually part of the body) resonate. I can doze off to that sound.

Then I wake up with a start with a ringing that can wake up the dead :shock: (there have been complaints from the local cemetery... :lol: ).

I like kinbaku's proposal. 8)
