I'm not looking for an erotic story. Just a regular story where two of the characters just happen to be a dom/sub couple... Like, that's just a thing about them, but not necessarily part of the plot.
The reason why...
I've recently realized I'm a sub, after spending most of my life thinking I was a dom. But none of that matters because my wife doesn't want to do any of that stuff. So, lately I've been thinking that I could live vicariously through others by reading stories where such people are characters.
But not porn. Porn always strikes me as being "artificial". (Don't get me wrong - I love porn, it's just clearly not real-world.) Also, most porn is written by people who've never actually had sex. I'm pretty sure that most people who read "50 Shades of Gray" agree that the author has never been tied up in her life.
I'm looking for something real-world, written by someone who knows what they're talking about. At the very least, something that sounds real to anyone who actually does live that lifestyle.
Does anyone know of anything like that? Thanks in advance.
Any non-porn books with characters who are a dom/sub couple?

Not directly related to the story telling:
https://kinkyevents.co.uk/dom-sub-relat ... beginners/
Submissive's Guide To BDSM Vol. 1: 66 Tips On How To Enjoy Happy & Healthy BDSM Relationship As A Sub: Volume 4 (Guide to Healthy BDSM) Paperback – 6 May 2016, but you can find stories on the internet like https://tags.literotica.com/dom%2Fsub/
I have a book about a sex worker that tells her real stories and explains how you can get started as a sex worker based on her own experiences. However, it is in Dutch and therefore not relevant here. But I am sure that such books are also available in English.

Depends upon your definition of porn, I suppose.
I read a great quote one time: Erotica is when you use a feather. Porn is when you use the whole chicken.
Most of the novels I have ever read, that were intended for adults and not teens, have included sex. I wouldn't call them porn. I would expect that any story that bothered to mention that the main characters were kinky would include some scenes of them being kinky. Otherwise, why mention it?
What do you call a 'regular' story? Contemporary? Historical? Science fiction? Fantasy?
If you would be interested in a Fantasy story where BDSM is a component but not the main purpose of the story then I recommend: Kira the Kinky Wizard
