I would say, that is the smartest thing of 4 possibilities I can think of.

Option A : Act a buster and call it out, say "That's bad" , "rots your brains", whatever, they said the same thing about the Philips Magnet Box television set. Then they don't like you.
Option B : Praise their decision to have it open on their desktop, but advise them to hide it better next time. Still creates an awkwardness, and they don't like you.
Option C : Encourage the viewing of illicit materials, and even offer advice on how to get more. Parents later catch them doing this, and confess how they got it. They get in trouble. They don't like you, parents hate you.
Option D (the right choice) : Say nothing. Be surprised you even noticed. Sun is warm, grass is green, sky is blue, and this is what they do. Everything continues as before. And if they realize they left it open and suspect you are cool with it, they may like you a bit more.

In prehistoric times (B.I. - before Internet  ), it was the Sears Catalog women's underwear and lingerie section.

Or one of the porn magazines hidden in a box under the bed.

Technology changes, but basic human nature doesn't...

Jenny.
And before that (quite bit before) ancient empires had a tendency to carve nudity on just about everything. Take for instance the Warren Cup.

One of the earliest discoveries made when they excavated Pompeii was a statue of the god Pan doing...Uhm....well, something rather naughty to a goat. :D
It was in fact, considered so obscene that it wasn't put on public display until 2000, and you can still only see it in the Secret Museum in Naples.

If there's one consistent thread that continues just about all through human history, it's that we like looking at nude bodies.
Ironically, it's only after the age of 'Enlightenment' that nudity becomes something somewhat taboo.

Here endeth todays history lesson.

No surprise. Every time they do subtraction, they're jerking off. Now that's kinky!

They're also walking funny because their doodles are sore from all that subtracting...

I feel like I should say something here, but the title of this thread is "Seriously?"

And while we are busy with subtraction, we are thinking about the multiplication afterwards.
