Thank you so much for the really encouraging and heartening messages throughout what turned out to be a really nasty dose of Covid. I'm clear now, and the only remaining symptoms are loss of taste and smell, and levels of fatigue like nothing before, but back to firing on most cylinders!! Certainly well enough to break out the rope bag and get back into some overdue binding!! Even the beloved gag is back now!

Just don't over-rev those remaining cylinders. Like when Dom Toretto raced Brian O'Connor and his Chrysler Charger motor car threw its rod through the side of the block. (Insert GIF here, GIF Dom's engine broken not found) I wonder how fast that Toyota Supra actually was. (We only have Dom's word that his car does the 1/4 mile in 9 seconds and tied in a race with it) A 10 second car is a 10 second car I guess. And with that, look what I have done to my beautiful thread. I guess it can stand a break if everyone is feeling well.

I am glad to see that no one has had to post any bad news here since summer time. I am reviving this thread only to remind everyone to remain vigilant this holiday season against the Corona and its variants, as well as the flu and RSV ( Respiratory Syncytial Virus) going around, a "tridemic" I believe they called it.

Totally agree.
Only one member of the music group was unable to participate in our performance yesterday due to a lighter form of Corona. She is not sick, but because of the regulations, you don't contact other people for a week and stay at home.

Keep in good health during this holiday season ...
... and during the new year 2023.
... and of course ...
... all the years after that.

The first time I had it, it put me in hospital and on oxygen. the second time it but me in bed for three weeks with a nurse visiting me ( not like that, behave yourselves, I did have the energy anyway), the third time I got it I was on the sofa with duvet for four days and it was like having mild flu but I don't want it again. Apparently it was three different strains of the virus each time.

I better find some more cat gifs then
