Are you superstitious? Or are you like me, and just are extra careful just in case, without necessarily believing in bad luck?
Bondage is like a foreign film without subtitles. Only through sharing and practice can we hope to understand.

Oh, please share, this is a first for me, being able to manipulate this atmosphere to my advantage. I usually have to put up with people jumping over cracks, staying out from under ladders, and running ahead of black cats.

The story isn't really that juicy - I was out at a fireplace store, looking for a wood burner. As I was talking to the lady of the shop, she mentioned that the price was wrong (it was more expensive as listed) and I joked something to the extend of "but of good luck you'll sell it anyway since it's Friday the 13th". She looked puzzled and agreed

Extra care must be taken, as indicated above, to avoid being run into by crack jumpers, ladder weavers, and cat haters.
Black cats are an effective deflector shield against such two-legged threats. They keep all superstitious people at a distance.
There is one day, however, when black cats are ineffective in this role - Halloween.
But there is a bright side to this Friday 13th - in six days it will be Talk Like A Pirate Day.
