So I wanted to share something I made on a whim. I found one of those adjustable pressure fir shower curtain rods and thought it would be great to use as a spreader bar. I was right! All i did was drill a 1/4 inch hole on one end, and in the smaller protruding part, did the same again. I placed a 2 inch gap lock in either hole and voila! Easy spreader bar that can be extended as wide as I want! Just make sure you file down any burrs from the drilling
Some future mods I will be doing is switching the locks fir large steel rings to make it work that much better.

And with the click of the lock, she knew she had found true freedom.

Re: Home made adjustable spreader bar
That's great, My spreader bar is a 36” pick axe handle. Made from solid timber which does not flex. 4 holes to attach lockable leather ankle & wrist cuffs. I sometimes attach my dog collared neck bent forward & chained to the middle of the bar for ultimate compliance.
