Did you ever leave something out that a visitor found?

Post by Shannon SteelSlave »

We all have our toys, and most of us put them away routinely, or at least when expecting vanilla company. But did you ever accidentally lose or leave something out that was discovered by a guest? How did you handle it? Did you own it, or tell a white lie to cover? Did your explanation or excuse satisfy their curiosity, or do you think you left them with some suspicion?

I did have a pair of hinged handcuffs lying in full view on top of a stereo speaker when my parents dropped in with a friend to 'surprise me' as they were passing through. Needless to say the friend spotted them  and asked why I had them. Fortunately at the time I was a Special Constable (Reseve Police Officer for our colonial cousins) and my parents promptly told her that and went on to say how proud of me they were  . The conversation then switched to what police duties I performed etc. :!:

My desktop on my computer has very, ehm... mature images. To be exact, my collection is over 1000 image I made from public galaries of people doing bdsm stuff. From just ladies being nude or in soft bondage, all the way to extreme bdsm with needles, estim and the like. Its setup to auto-rotate every 20 minutes.

I have some software in place that I can hit a key to change my desktop images to kids friendly (or as I call it, visitor mode) images. I have set it up that when I turn off the computer and turn it back on, it will revert back to my bdsm collection automatically. Well I used to anyway.

One day, a mechanic came to fix my internet, so I went into visitor friendly mode. All was fine. He did his thing, but had to work on some data cables. These data cables are in the same closet that my fusebox is. While working on the cables, he accidentally hit the power switch, and my entire house went powerless. He didn't even noticed until I asked what was going on. As I checked upon him he was ready with the stuff there. I complained, he turned on the power and then went inside with me. My computer booted up again and because it automatically reverts back to the bdsm background, I knew I had to act fast. I pressed the key combo to put it back into visitor mode, then manually switched background to get the "good looking girl" from my screen. He was busy doing his maintenance stuff which happened to be under my desk. I'm not sure if he saw it, but it was a very close call that scared the shit out of me.

If he did see it, he did not mention it, so I got away with it.

I had been playing with my cuffs the day before and left them behind my bed on a pile of laundry in my student dorm. Then next day biked to my internship and on the way back fell and broke an ankle. I had completely forgotten I had left the stuff there at the time and after going to the hospital a friend helped by picking up some clean clothes from my room (was on the 3rd floor, no lift, couldn't really walk so he went up while I waited downstairs). Pretty sure he must have seen them, but he never mentioned it.

Slightly worse was that my parents then came to help me out when I went back to present the results of my internship at school and my mother found them (luckily it wasn't my Dad) and we had to have a bit of an uncomfortable talk about it

Back when I was still in University I went to visit my parents for the weekend and used the opportunity catch up with my best friend. He asked if he can come with me when I go back to Berlin and stay for a few days.
Since I had no classes the next days and we don't see us that often I agreed immediately and so we drove to my place in Berlin.

The next day I noticed that I apparently had left some rope and "Douglas Kent's Complete Shibari Volume 1" on a shelf in my living room right on eyelevel.
He never mentioned it and nether did I but there is no way he didn't see it.

Then again since we have known each other for so long now there is no way he hasn't noticed I am kinky before.
And if he really is that blind his Girlfriend and I will have a good laugh once he finds out.

We've not been caught so far, but we worry what happens if we both die in a plane crash. Our children, being adults and not knowing about our kink, would go through our things. So I have told my sister that if we both die, get to the house before the kids do, and go through the master bedroom closet, and get rid of anything we wouldn't want our kids to see, without specifically telling my sister what exactly she would find. I'm guessing she's thinking vibrators and porn. Perhaps a blindfold and a feather. Not the collection of whips, rope, cuffs, and assorted hardware that we have LOL!

My biggest fear is becoming crippled, and having to rely on someone to care for a paraplegic pervert. Unable to get up and destroy my stuff. I only want to be temporarily immobile.

Is a internal chastity belt key easily recognized by the vanilla? Someone found mine in my bathroom while we working working in there and asked out loud. Looked at it like it was the key to a English castle or something.

i have a waterbed frame for my bed that doesnt have a waterbed anymore. when it did have the waterbed, my friend would stick their hand between the wooden frame and the mattress because it felt nice. when i got a normal mattress on there, i kept a set of steel ankle cuffs chained to the bed frame tucked between the mattress and the wooden frame, plenty out of sight. i would keep them there because im lazy and didnt want to keep re-attaching them to the bed. one day he was in my room and tucked his hand between the mattress and the frame and was like, "whats this, a coffee cup?", realizes what it is, puts it back as im just sitting there smirking and he says "i didnt see anything". LOL
For those that get it, no explanation is needed. For those that don't, no explanation is possible.

Before I was married, I had visited a girlfriend while her parents were away. I wanted to tie her standing up with her arms above her head, but the best I could do was attaching a rope to the top hinge of a door frame. Maybe not the greatest, but it worked.

The rope was just thin clothesline, so I could easily cut it to release her. Several days after her parents got home, I visited her again and noticed a loop of rope still attached to the door hinge. As far as I know, no one else ever noticed it. Needless to say, I waited until everyone was out of the room and then quickly cut it off and got rid of it.

Years ago, I had a cabin in the mountains. We allowed a friend of ours to use it one week. A few weeks later, I discovered the fake smoke detector in the spare bedroom sitting on the dresser. It hides a secure eye hook hard point. Apparently, our visitor decided to change the batteries for us. Talk about embarrassing.

I tell people my ceiling hooks were for planters. I get away with it because I can say it was like that before I took ownership.

I was visiting my parents, and when I travel by car, I just shovel clothes into a suitcase or box without much thought.
I had accidently taken a leotard along and somehow my mother washed it with my other clothes.
I found it neatly folded on top of my clean clothes.
I could not ignore this so when I brought it to her, she said she thought it was mine.
I said that I had accidently scooped it out of a laundromat washer and planned to take it back the next time I went.
Since it fit me very snugly, I think she accepted that it was too small to be mine.
(On the way home, I stopped at a motel with a pool and wore it to swim in.)
