Re: Location tracker that doesn't reveal location?

Thanks again, I'll report back in due course with my own progress. Hi Vladimir Back again to report that it all works like a charm :) Rarely have I encountered such well documented software. Following your step by step guide worked pretty much at the first attempt. The most time consuming part was ...

Re: Location tracker that doesn't reveal location?

Here we go. https://github.com/LenAnderson/SecretLocation You'll need a basic server with Apache/PHP. A free hosting service may work. I tried a couple and found https://www.000webhost.com/ to be fairly easy to use and fast to set up (don't know how well it works long term). You can see a demo here...

Re: Location tracker that doesn't reveal location?

I could probably create a simple prototype tomorrow or in a couple of days... That sounds like a lot of work to do in two days. I honestly wasn't expecting anyone to do any actual coding for this, but if the project is of interest to you, then, of course, any help would be greatly appreciated. Even...

Re: Location tracker that doesn't reveal location?

My understanding is that we are looking for a location sharing service like Google maps allows, but without revealing the actual location. So instead of giving the real coordinates relative to Null Island the coordinates shared would be e.g. relative to the user's home, i.e. 0°N 0°E would refer to ...

Location tracker that doesn't reveal location?

There are many location sharing apps that will share one's location on a map with trusted partners. I'm wondering if there exists or could exist an app that will show a phone's location relative to some point known only to the phone's owner? That is, something that could be used for play with a casu...

Re: Tamper proof anklet?

Hey, back again just to say that it appears that marking a knot or seal with glittery nail varnish then photographing seems to be the go to method for detecting any tampering. The theory being that even with the same varnish it's impossible to get the sparkles back in their original locations. There...

Re: Tamper proof anklet?

Hey,
Thanks to everyone for responding so quickly with these intriguing and ingenious suggestions. I will do some experimentation and then report back with whatever I settle on.

Have fun,

Tamper proof anklet?

Hi, I'd like to have my sub wear an anklet made of thin rope or fine chain that she can easily remove herself without needing tools, except maybe a pair of scissors, but that she can't remove and replace without my knowledge. I was thinking maybe something like a short length of paracord with the en...

Instructions for sirik?

Hi, Does anyone know of any online instructions for making a 'sirik' type chain body harness, i.e., a single chain attached to a collar falling down the front of the body which is connected to additional chains binding the wrists and ankles together? Specifically I'm interested in a design that has ...

Re: software for use on a partner?

Hi bikinibondage,
Sorry for the delayed response, but yes, you've got exactly what I had in mind. If you were able to have a go at coding it in java that'd be great. I'm not much of a programmer myself, but I'd be happy to help with the testing and debugging.

Re: software for use on a partner?

Okay, here I am back again to flog my dead horse. Another idea has occurred to me, and I'm wondering if such a program already exists or if it would be feasible to create one. I envisage a web page where a picture can be uploaded and scheduled to be emailed to a selected adress at some given time in...

Re: software for use on a partner?

So, just to clarify. There is currently no software on the forum that allows a Dom to set a task for his sub and then verify its completion? It's a shame although I appreciate that it's not the focus of the site.

Re: software for use on a partner?

Thanks for the responses cheerful and kevlar, you've both explained better than I managed what I was trying to describe. Not being a coder myself I feel a bit uncomfortable in making requests, but as kevlar points out there is quite a bit of work involved in adding this extra layer on to SBBJ. Do yo...

Re: software for use on a partner?

Do you mean a program where you assign tasks for the other person to do??? Kinda like a list of "chores" that he, or she, checks off as they are done??? Are you present to verify their completion or do you just take their word for it??? The idea is that the 'Dom' assigns a task to be comp...
