Ah, brilliant, I didn’t realise HRM chest straps existed.
Yes it’s my intention to access the data directly using Golang on Linux. That’s how I’m controlling other devices like the Estim 2B box (via USB / serial)
I’d be fascinated to know what kind of automation / scenarios you have come up with?

Heart-rate monitoring sports watch with realtime API?
I’ve got a few ideas about games / predicaments based on heart rate. Given that heart rate detectors are now built in to many watches, I wondered if that might be a way to go? Does anyone know of a model where it’s possible to access realtime heartrate data from the watch somehow? Along similar line...

Re: Detecting breath with gas mask - but no fogging?
If your GP5 keeps fogging up you might want to check your breathing valves and the functioning of the valve box. If the outlet valve sticks shut a bit and the inlet valve stays partially open condensation can build up on the lenses as warm out-breath air flows back through the inlet tubes. The way ...

Re: Detecting breath with gas mask - but no fogging?
Ooh, this might work: https://thekinksters.co.uk/product/714/inflatable-rubber-airway-gag.html It’s an inflatable gag with a breathing tube passing through the bulb. Coupled with a nose clip this would ensure air had to go through the tube, which could be routed through the bubbler bottle. The air t...

Detecting breath with gas mask - but no fogging?
Hi kinksters… In the past I built a breath measurement device using a GP5 gas mask, a bubbler bottle full of salt water and electric contacts glued into the bubbler bottle. The concept was that when I inhaled, it raised the saltwater level inside the bottle and closed the contacts. I played around u...

Re: Punishments for early key release
As you could still take the shredded note to a bank for replacement perhaps having the shredded remains dropping into permanent ink or such like making the remains of the note unreplaceable. Ah-ha, no chance of replacement, it's a cross-shredder so it really does destroy whatever goes through it :D

Re: Punishments for early key release
I had been pondering this for a while too. My emergency release is an electrical rocker switch by my hand which cuts the power to an electromagnetic lock on my wrist cuff. The switch is double pole, meaning it actually breaks 2 separate circuits, and the second is wired to an Arduino controlling oth...

Hello from a kinky maker - love sb & estim
Hey all, long time lurker and fan. Had a lot of inspiration over the years from this site so want to share some posts and give something back. I like to put my technical background to good use. My favourite hobby is building devious self bondage contraptions then testing them out :) I use Arduino fo...
