Re: INESCAPABLE handcuff recommendation

Check out "darby cuffs". https://www.handcuffwarehouse.com/darby-style-restraints/ These locks require a screw thread key to unlock; as you turn the key it pulls back the retaining bolt. Can be a challenge even if you _have_ the key. Ain't no paperclip gonna open those... although they _ma...

Re: Dare turns into reality with a twist

I felt a bit humiliated, I was wearing a chastity device, meaning that each time I had to pee I had to sit down. That bit never humiliated me. What's more annoying is something that used to be very quick to do now takes many minutes (especially to get clean) which can be a challenge when you're on ...

Re: Corona

Honestly, this thread should be locked and any further discussion else-forum deleted. It's clearly not a rational debate and wanders into political and conspiracy theory realms at the toss of a coin (err, padlock key?).

Re: Corona

6,435,453 Confirmed Cases 382,093 Global Deaths What will happen to these numbers with "summer" coming? People are bored, frustrated, and losing faith that safe measures are the right course of action. The weather is probably going to be the biggest factor, in that, people don't want to b...

Re: Corona

We have little knowledge about seasonal variability of this virus, because it's new. Early statements have been made based on the basis of _other_ coronaviruses and the flu. Interestingly, recent studies have shown that areas with max temperatures below 68F have had the greatest growth. Which means ...

Re: Prisoner for a week - the folly of youth

I have a friend involved in managing a castle. He was asking about fundraising. I told him that he could lock people in the dungeons for payment per hour. Just to se what it was like. Or get people to volunteer to be dressed as middle age peasants and be locked in and let people see what is was lik...

Re: Corona

Despite all the praise heaped on Sweden, the spread of the virus there is not slowing very fast, like it is in all countries that HAVE implemented measures. There are a lot of reasons Sweden is not easily comparable to other countries and communities, and what "works" there, might not wor...

Re: Corona

Yet we all live with, and accept, the risk of our own death every time we leave our house, get in a car, bus, plane - or even stay at home! and those risks are far worse than catching covid-19. Re: Corona

I'm not going to dispute any of the others on the type of soap to use, but will add that the so called antibacterial liquid soap I have works very well at removing engine and lubricating oils and grease from my hands (main reason I use it). So, even if the antibacterial properties are not effective...

Re: Corona

Those soaps also don't specify anti-fungus or anti-protist, but I need something to encapsulate and wash the "germs" off of skin. I just don't quite get how lipid-based soaps are going to do that. Soaps aren't based on lipids. Some viruses have a lipid boundary, which means those membrane...

Re: Corona

You'll want to use something marked "anti-bacterial" for your hand soap. No you don't; that's the point. (Aside from an anti-bacterial doesn't hurt a virus; they're two different things!) Thinking back to basic chemistry I learned 37-ish years ago. At a very simple level, soap molecules h...

Re: Corona

Minor correction. Virus is not destroyed by soap From what I've been read (and still seems to be the pervailing story), soap will weaken and break the fatty envelope that surrounds virus, causing it to degrade and "die" and, indeed, can perform better than sanitiser because the soap also ...
