Minor point of note for those that might not know, sub/dom and bottom/top are not the same thing. sub/dom is about dominance and position. Who is in control. Top/bottom is about "giving and receiving" the sexual act. So it's possible to be a sub top or a dom bottom.

being a bit picky, but Top/bottom (or sub/Dom) need not relate to a sexual act, unless you define anything we do in kink as sexual?

For example, on many occasions at play-parties I have flogged, caned, tied, chained and generally tortured (the play version!) a wide range of people, male/female/any variety, and at a fair number had any of those done to me by a similar range of people. Almost none of those occasions involved sexual acts. For a year, I had a regular play partner (at play-parties), a lesbian lady who had no desire for sex with me, nor I with her, I was Top, she was bottom.

Some practice "service topping" - something I did as a Top, playing with visitors to the play-parties who simply wanted to experience being a bottom, on occasions they were clearly Dom(me) in a D/s relationship but just fancied a change! and some practice "service bottoming" usually for less experienced Tops

And of course then you get "switches" who do just that, Top/bottom Dom/sub. But that's another topic!
