fun poll-like question: is a gag essential?

Post by BoundUpAndSilent »

A fun question I'd like to pose as I haven't been to the forum for a while:

Is a gag essential for your bondage set-up? giving or receiving, whichever you prefer.

thanks for reading :)

Oh yes. There is nothing, in my opinion, like being dressed sissy & being bound nice and tight. And not being able to call for help.

personally, no. neither me or the partner like gags, and sometimes the dominance that can occur through speech can heighten the mood! :P

Personally I think gags are awesome. I love to be gagged and I think that for bondage a gag is essential whenever the mouth is not to be put to other purposes. Use your imagination here  .Did I mention that I LOVE to be gagged? :gag:

On occasion, yes! It's all up to the feeling of the moment.

I don't have a proper gag, so I'd say it isn't essential to me. In fact, I tie without my makeshift gag a whole lot more than I tie with it.

yes, a gag more fun when you're tied up. A ballgag is preferred.

A gag add to the helplessness of being tied up. It also helps control sound depending on the gag. I heard myself laugh through a gag for the first time a few months back. There was a mishap with the rope holding me. As my captor decided to vibe and tickle me, I went nuts and almost all the rope holding my upper body fell off except my hands. We both laughed hysterically, but for me, laughing gagged. It was a very fun moment despite the serious scene we were in.

Sorry I took awhile to post back.

Thanks so much for the responses :)

for me personally, I would describe it as a sort of 'final stroke' to total helplessness.
having speech restricted is probably the most intense for me, to the point where at times
the bondage most importantly serves to keep me from removing my gag :)

Just one perspective.

Thanks again so much for all the interesting feedback :)

When I am bound, my wife will use an orange as a gag. :)

I am told to open wide, bite through the skin and don't let go. When she is teasing me, "Don't let go" has two meanings.

The sweet juice of the orange is refreshing. After a while, the acid in the peel will sting a little. :whip:

Overall, a cheap, very effect, yet completely safe gag. We get a thrill during the day just looking at the oranges on the counter and knowing their true purpose.

Gags are awesome. Personally, the more drool the better. And incoherence is a must.

Recently, I decided for our site we're going to use a lemon. Pantyhose head encasement first, push the lemon in real good and then tape over it one or two strands. There is no way that bastard is going anywhere and after a while, one's jaws really do need to relax. I think a hogtie is about the only way I will be able to tie the poor girl safely and hell, the puddle will just get bigger and bigger while her head hovers...
