Need help with PM's.

Post by onestrangeguy »

Ok, so I feel really dumb again, and I probably am. (I'm old)

My in box filled up! apparently you can only store 50 messages in there. (Who knew?)
I see little boxes on the right that I can check, but I haven't found any way to delete messages.

If anyone else has figured out how to delete messages, please help!

click on "rules, folders, and settings"on the left side of the page.
there you can tell it to delete old messages or move them to another folder.

Seriously, you really need to start looking closer and seeing what all the little boxes and drop downs do. At the bottom of the inbox page is a box with an arrow at the right. If you click on the arrow, you have several choices of what to do with messages you marked. One of them is "delete", and one is "move to saved messages". Either one will free up your inbox.

you are hereby promoted to MOD on april 1st. we just wanna have some luffs on the members crying "where is my post?"
J/K, of course.

one bit of advice: just take your time if you miss something. most likely it is there.
explore the options & pull-down menus and if you can't find it, ask.

everyone starts out as a forum-novice. *been there myself*
